The Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary with Scripture focus on the biblical accounts of the lives of Jesus, Mary, and the Apostles after the crucifixion and death of Jesus, beginning with the resurrection of Jesus. These mysteries are generally prayed on Sundays and Wednesday; although they can be prayed on any day in accordance with one's private devotion.
“Truly, truly, I say to you, you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn into joy.” (Jn 16:20)
“But I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.” (Jn 16:22)
At the early dawn, they went to the tomb, taking the spices which they had prepared. (Lk 24:1)
For an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone, and sat upon it. (Mt 28:2)
“Do not be afraid; for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here.” (Mt 28:5-6)

“He is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him.” (Mt 28:7)
And the women went out and fled from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples. (Mk 16:8; Mt 28:8)
“I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.” (Jn 11:25)
“And whoever lives and believes in me shall never die.” (Jn 11:26)
The Ascension
Then Jesus led them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up his hands he blessed them. (Lk 24:50)
And Jesus came and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” (Mt 28:18)
“Go, therefore and make disciples of all nations.” (Mt 28:19)
“. . . baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” (Mt 28:19)
“. . . teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” (Mt 28:20)
“He who believes and is baptized will be saved.” (Mk 16:16)
“But he who does not believe will be condemned.” (Mk 16:16)

And when he had said this, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. (Acts 1:9)
So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. (Mk 16:19)
The Descent of the Holy Spirit
When the day of Pentecost day had come, they were all together in one place. (Acts 2:1)
And suddenly a sound came from heaven like the rush of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. (Acts 2:2)
And there appeared to them tongues as of fire, distributed and resting on each one of them. (Acts 2:3)
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to tell the mighty works of God. (Acts 2:4, 11)
Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men from every nation under heaven. (Acts 2:5)
But Peter, standing with the Eleven, lifted up his voice and addressed them. (Acts 2:14)
And Peter said to them, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 2:38)
So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls. (Acts 2:41)
Send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created; and you shall renew the face of the earth. (Pentecost Alleluia)
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful; and kindle in them the fire of your love. (Pentecost Alleluia)
The Assumption
“My beloved speaks and says to me: “Arise, my love, my dove, my fair one, and come away.” (Songs 2:10)

The Coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary
