According to St. Louis de Montfort
The "33 Day Preparation for Total Consecration to Jesus Through Mary according to St. Louis Marie de Montfort" is a personal devotion in which a person prepares himself/herself spiritually to become consecrated to Jesus through Mary. Participants spend 33 days prior to the Consecration preparing themselves interiorly through spiritual readings from the Bible and other Catholic resources (such as True Devotion, Imitation of Christ, etc.) and praying a series of prayers.
